South Central Regional Medical Center Welcomes Joshua M. Holifield, DO

Joshua M. Holifield, DO, recently joined the South Central General Surgery team in January, where he will perform a multitude of surgical services.

Dr. Holifield is a Laurel native who is excited to serve the area he calls home. He earned his medical degree from the William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2016, and he completed his general surgery residency at Samaritan Health Services- Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in 2021 before returning to the Pine Belt to practice.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to return to my hometown and to be a part of the exciting growth that is happening at SCRMC,” said Dr. Holifield.

The South Central General Surgery department is excited to welcome Dr. Holifield to the team, which includes R. Kevin Ivey, MD; Seth Ladd, DO; Chad Saul, MD; Jillian F. Carroll, PA; Jensen Ciacci, PA-C; and Chris Rivers, ACNP.
