The Friends of the Laurel-Jones County Library System will host their inaugural "Pop Up Book Shop" fundraising event from April 8 - 14th at Sawmill Square Mall to celebrate National Libraries Week and in support of the local Laurel and Ellisville libraries. This community event will be a week-long used book shop, where patrons from all over can shop a large selection of donated children's books, fiction, non-fiction, cookbooks, and more at great prices! There will also be t-shirts and library themed goodies for sale as well. There will be a kid's area with crayons and coloring pages for the little ones to enjoy while their parents shop. They can also spend time in the kid's area reading their new books. Cash AND Cards accepted.
The book shop will also feature additional events including a book club, author chats, coffee and coloring, and a creative writing workshop.

Sunday, April 14th: 3 p.m. "So You Want to Write a Book" author chat with local authors Pamela Hatch and Betty Louise
