Hospital Week is a time to recognize the important role healthcare plays in our community and, most importantly, to celebrate EVERY healthcare employee who are essential to providing care for each and every South Central patient. You are invited to join South Central Regional Medical Center in the celebration of our healthcare employees! There will be multiple opportunities throughout the week to witness some of the festivities, which are detailed below:
Monday- May 13- Noon: PPE Fashion Show at SCRMC Conference Rooms at 1220 Jefferson Street. This event will feature runway-worthy designs created using medical personal protective equipment.
Tuesday- May 14- 2 p.m. Employee Dessert Bake-Off at SCRMC Conference Rooms at 1220 Jefferson Street. Twenty SCRMC employees will present their best desserts to be judged. Judges include Chris Tullos of the Chamber of Commerce and Laurel Police Chief Tommy Cox.
Friday- May 17- Noon. SCRMC Parking Lot on the I-59 side of the building, SCRMC will announce SCRMC's first Employee of the Quarter. Winners of contests throughout the week will be announced and employees will enjoy a cookout and fun activities. Live music played from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
