Open Mic Night returns to Lee's! Our open mic has been a local favorite since we started having it years ago. Local musicians, poets, etc. come and perform original material as well as covers, for a laid-back, supportive audience. Anyone is welcome to participate, as long as you keep everything family-friendly. Free to all!
The Sporting Clay Competition benefiting Leadership Jones County will begin at 11 a.m. with lunch being served at noon and shooting starting at 1 p.m. The deadline for sponsorships is November 22nd. Tales to Tails: Reading with Axel is a wonderful way to encourage children to read. Reading to Axel, a certified therapy dog, offers a comforting and relaxed atmosphere for reading. Your child may bring a book from home or choose one from the library's collection.
