Garbage Schedule Announcement

The City of Laurel Public Works Department is currently working with WastePro to ensure that the city’s garbage pickup scheduled is maintained. Currently, WastePro is down two trucks and has fallen behind their regular schedule. Public Works Director Tyrome Russell explained that the city is working to ensure that the regular schedule will be restored as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience!

The City of Laurel, established as a lumber town in 1882, is conveniently situated approximately two hours from larger destination cities such as Jackson, Biloxi, New Orleans, and Mobile.
