Railroad Crossings Expected to Have Temporary Closures Next Week

Announcement: The contractors who have been working on the railroad crossings in the city have announced that the crossing are back open after being closed earlier today. It will be rough passage until the areas that have been worked on can be repaved next week. On Monday, January 20th, at 3 a.m., the E Kingston Street, 16th Street and 18th Street crossings will be closed and are expected to be closed all day. On Tuesday, January 21st, the 24th Street crossing & Laurel Machine & Foundry private crossing will be closed. On Wednesday, January 22nd, the Loretta Road crossing will be closed. Thank you for your patience as these crews work hard to maintain our railroad infrastructure!
